The journey

My career began in 1996 at Interconex in London where I trained in operations and export packing. I soon graduated into a sharp suit performing surveys for corporate accounts. My packing experience allowed me to produce exceptional accuracy and my likeable personality and enthusiasm was a hit with clients in the home.

In 2001 I joined Crown Relocations as an inexperienced Sales Consultant. The next 13 years took me from the flagship London office to Bristol to create an award-winning branch from scratch. To Australia as State Manager enjoying what it means to live and work abroad, experiencing the trials and tribulations of relocating through the client's eyes.

In 2016 it was clear Video Survey would change things. I seized an opportunity to fully implement Video Survey into Crown Relocations in London, becoming one of the earliest trailblazers. Driving adoption and conducting Video Surveys, I secured 80% of competitive corporate and private opportunities, averaging 35% mark-up. I went on to become a successful trainer and implementer working with movers across the world. In 2019, Gerrard Halsey Video Surveys Ltd was born, where we have earned our reputation as the finest in the business.
